I guess this may or may not work. I thought that if this works, we can work a little more effectively posting comments and responding throughout the day. You know, all computerly and stuff?!?
So, I'm gonna post this comment, and then email both of you in hopes that you will comment also, and subscribe to this blog. THAT way, when anyone leaves a message or comment, we'll all be notified, and this is an effective way to brainstorm and discuss things at length. Yay!
I'm not sure how about the Lighthouse name. I like the idea that it incorporates something local, but that may not work if this turns in to a chain. Also, Brandon, I agree that it is not quite "new" enough.
As for hours, what are the salon's hours? Not that that should be ours, I was just curious. I think the 10-7 sounds reasonable.
As for the wood floor, I am down for that. I think that would look really nice in some photos. Do you think that should be included in the beginning or should we wait on that?
What color ideas do you have for the walls. we may only be able to fit two or three colors in. I liked the crimson red idea. Especially with the wood floor, very clean and rich. SO, we would have the red wall, the brick (hopefully), the backdrops and then some other color on the other wall. What backdrops are you going for?
Did you take a look at that lighting setup I sent you? There was a lot included with that. There is a reversible silver/white umbrella that I would really like to use. Also, a honeycomb grid light. I've never used one, but it seems to be interesting and something to play with.
K, well, I'm distracted right now. Watching Kung Fu Panda and I am really hungry. Talk to you later.
